HILLARY ANDERSON - LIBRARY

Rules and Procedures For the Walnut Ridge Middle-Level Library:

  • Enter the library quietly and with a good attitude.
  • Sit two at a table.
  • Even if you aren’t finished with a book, bring it back and we’ll recheck it.
  • Sorry, no gum.
  • Bring your books, pencil, and paper.
  • Treat the book you are checking out like it is your own. If it comes back damaged, it will be yours when you pay for it.
  • Raise your hand if you would like to talk.
  • Respect others around you and yourself.
  • Leave your phone off. Off, means OFF. I will take it up and give it to Mr. Belcher.
  • There is a clock on the wall. Do NOT use your phone to check the time
  • Be kind to substitutes. They leave notes—lots of notes.
  • Pick up paper on the floor and your table before leaving.
  • Never stand behind someone when they are on the computer.
  • Skip a seat when taking an AR test.
  • No talking while taking an AR test.
  • I am a horrible pitcher. When I throw candy at you, be prepared to duck and catch at the same time. Good luck.
  • Say, thank you when someone does something for you.
  • Say please when you need something.
  • Be proud of yourself for your accomplishments.
  • Be proud of others for their accomplishments.
  • Did I mention ducking when I throw candy? Seriously, I am a really bad thrower.
  • Appreciate who you are, what you have, and who you will become.
