Rules and Procedures For the Walnut Ridge Middle-Level Library:
- Enter the library quietly and with a good attitude.
- Sit two at a table.
- Even if you aren’t finished with a book, bring it back and we’ll recheck it.
- Sorry, no gum.
- Bring your books, pencil, and paper.
- Treat the book you are checking out like it is your own. If it comes back damaged, it will be yours when you pay for it.
- Raise your hand if you would like to talk.
- Respect others around you and yourself.
- Leave your phone off. Off, means OFF. I will take it up and give it to Mr. Belcher.
- There is a clock on the wall. Do NOT use your phone to check the time
- Be kind to substitutes. They leave notes—lots of notes.
- Pick up paper on the floor and your table before leaving.
- Never stand behind someone when they are on the computer.
- Skip a seat when taking an AR test.
- No talking while taking an AR test.
- I am a horrible pitcher. When I throw candy at you, be prepared to duck and catch at the same time. Good luck.
- Say, thank you when someone does something for you.
- Say please when you need something.
- Be proud of yourself for your accomplishments.
- Be proud of others for their accomplishments.
- Did I mention ducking when I throw candy? Seriously, I am a really bad thrower.
- Appreciate who you are, what you have, and who you will become.
