Journals for ALL classes

Fifty journals will be due near the end of each nine-week period.  Each journal should be fifteen lines with at least eight words per line.  Writing prompts will be given at the beginning of each nine weeks.


Independent Reading Assignments for English 11 and for AP classes are will be due on Mondays during each nine week period. Each nine weeks, a book will be assigned for students to read on their own, to complete assignments on StudySync, and to write journals.


English 11 Research Paper - First Semester

This is to be a three to five page, double-spaced typed paper in MLA format.  This paper topic is to be about an author and at least three of his or her works.  Follow directions in the handout.
