Give the Gift of Life. Key Club is teaming up with the American Red Cross Wednesday , August 27th, for a Blood Drive from 9:00 – 2:30 in the Old Gym. You can sign-up in Mr. Haynes' Room between classes. You must be at least 16 years old. Deadline to sign up is Monday, August 25th.
UAMS Day in the Life -Variety Programs---for JUNIORS & SENIORS interested in a Healthcare field---Sept. 24 or Oct. 8. The program runs from 8:30-2:30 each day. 40 spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Requirements are a 2.75 GPA and you must have an ACT score or must take the test by Dec. 31. DEADLINE FOR THE APP for either date is Sept. 17. Get these to your counselor by Monday, Sept. 15.
ST. BERNARD'S PATIENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM---if you are interested in a healthcare field: Ambassadors serve at least 2 hours per week for a total of 40 hours. Must provide own transportation to St. Bernards. Student must have a 3.0 GPA and provide references from two people. See Mrs. Findley for application. Deadline is Sept. 8.
LC CROWN CLUB APPLICATION---deadline has been extended to a receipt deadline of Friday, Aug. 29 at 8 a.m. Qualifications for membership: must reside in Lawrence County; 2.75 minimum GPA; 9-th-12th grade; 2 references required; possess leadership ability and interest in serving the community; $50 annual dues.See Mrs. Findley for application.
