AMI day two work is due today.
The WR Senior High Quiz Bowl Team competed in two tournaments this weekend and represented our Bobcat nation with distinction. The team was awarded the 2nd place trophy in the District Tournament on Friday and went undefeated in the Regional Tournament on Saturday. Their 1st place finish at Regionals secured them a spot to compete in the State Tournament in April. Graham West was recognized as the Regional MVP which also qualifies him for the All-Star State Quiz Bowl team. Way to go Bobcats!
WRHS Math students competed in the 41st annual ACTM Regional Math Contest this weekend and were recognized for their academic accomplishments in the following subjects: Skyla Henry and Kyle West were Top Finishers in Algebra l, Triston Voyles was a Top Finisher in Geometry, Garrett Gunn was a Top Finisher in Calculus and Graham Gunn placed 3rd in Calculus which qualifies him to compete at the State Competition in April. Congratulations for a job well done!

The square, front of the high school, and cafeteria are the only places that students are to be at lunch. Students found in unauthorized places will be subject to disciplinary action
The annual Faculty vs. Key Club charity basketball game is Thursday, March 14h. All students attending the game will need to pay their 1st period teacher $1.00 to attend.
The concession stand will open at lunch and remain open during the game which will offer pizza, hot dogs, pickles, drinks, etc.
The half-time contest will be "Half-Court Shot." Students will pay $1.00 to participate in the basketball shoot. If any student makes the shot, the student will win a prize.
The event is open to the public and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
ANY 10TH OR 11TH GRADER WITH A 3.0 GPA OR HIGHER WHO IS INTERESTED IN A HEALTH-RELATED CAREER CAN APPLY TO THE MASH PROGRAM AT BRTC---INTEREST CAN BE IN MEDICINE, NURSING, PHARMACY, MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY, ETC. SELECTION IS COMPETITIVE.
A NUMBER OF LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM MRS. FINDLEY. WALNUT RIDGE STUDENTS WILL WIN MANY OF THESE. PLEASE GO BY HER OFFICE TO PICK UP APPLICATIONS. MOST REQUIRE A 2.5 TO 3.0 GPA.
